Additionally, there is no sign posted visibly that states this 'Yes Pay - No Stray' rule so it's as though the store personnel can just make up rules as they go along. Besides, how does it hurt the store for me to watch others playing as long as I pay the entry fee?! This acting 'sheriff' was so irate that he kicked me out of the store for this criminal violation without parole! This new rule was yet another bizarre impromptu restriction imposed upon customers that makes the place very uncomfortable and unfriendly. During a break in our game, I walked nearby to watch some other peeps playing some other games for a minute until my friends were ready to play, but then something extraordinary happened: that same clerk came charging at me to impose a new rule on me: "You can't stray away from your playing table!" ("Huh?! ie: I just paid to enter the gaming area as required and no mention of a prison-proviso about being stuck in one place!"). Then the next week I had the same problem, but decided to just pay right away to save me the hassle and luckily found a game I could play. What if the clerk was busy with a line of other customers? Do I just sit and wait? So instead, I had this clerk go inside the gaming area for me just to find out. This type of overt blockage never happened before! Since I couldn't determine what was going on inside the gaming area from the store area, I was put into a position of having to 'gamble' and hope something was going on. Suddenly, a few days ago, a young kid/store clerk (Grant?) stopped me from entering the gaming area and claimed that I had to pay to enter. Even after I paid the fee to play a game, I felt this sensation of watchful paranoia and stifling oppression from the staff. Sometimes I would be confronted with weird pressurized questions such as: "Are you going to play something?". Sometimes I would play a friendly game with the owner and there would be no fee! Then as it grew in size & patronage, it began to feel more oppressive as though I was being watched and evaluated. One could watch the games going on and chat with the Meeps & Peeps about games and if deciding to play something with somebody, could pay a small fee to do so. When Meeples first opened it had a very humble, organic, and welcoming atmosphere.
